The tone in my book tuesdays with Morrie is very willingly. Morrie is willingly ready to talk about his ASL so people know what it’s like and how it makes you feel mentally when you are on the brink of death. This book has made me think a lot about death and what happens after. This book makes you think and that's why i like it.
Morry is the main character in the book tuesdays with Morrie and gets ASL. when he was healthy he was a professor and developed really good relationships with all of his students. He was a big part in all the kids and his family’s lives. When he got sick he went on TV and people who watched the program sent him letters with questions and letters thanking him for his bravery and inspiration.
The setting of the story is in Morrie’s house. As you know Morrie can’t move because of his ASL and news casters would come to his house for shows and interviews. One of his students back when he could teach saw him getting rolled out of the hospital came up to him and remembered how much they meant to each other. Now every tuesday he comes to hangout and talk to Morrie about life and deep topics. The setting influences the sadness of the book. It’s always in the same place and same time because Morrie cannot change that. It makes me feel bad for Morrie because he can’t do anything he wants, in his words he said “At one point I won't be able to wipe my ass by myself”
The theme is my book is, even when you nothing is going good for you, you should still help others. Morrie is one of the nicest people. Even when the ASL started making his body paralyzed he still went in and tried to teach his students.
